- Profile information: skills, experience, location, and profile photo for technician accounts.
- Company information: company name, industry, and contact details for company accounts.
- Usage data: how you interact with our platform, pages visited, features used, and time spent.
- Payment information: transaction details processed securely through Flutterwave. We do not store card numbers.
- Device information: IP address, browser type, operating system, and device identifiers.
How We Use Your Information
- To create and manage your account on the Mucho Connect platform.
- To connect technicians with clients and facilitate job matching.
- To process payments and send payment confirmations via email.
- To send important service notifications, OTP codes, and account updates.
- To improve our platform, features, and user experience.
- To prevent fraud, abuse, and ensure the security of our platform.
- To comply with legal obligations under Rwandan law.
Information Sharing
- We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
- Technician profiles (name, skills, location, ratings) are visible to verified company clients who have unlocked access.
- Company profiles are visible to technicians browsing job listings.
- We share data with Flutterwave solely to process your payments securely.
- We share data with Brevo (email service) solely to deliver transactional emails.
- We may disclose data if required by law, court order, or government authority in Rwanda.
Data Security
- All data is transmitted over HTTPS with TLS encryption.
- Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text.
- Access to your data is restricted to authorised personnel only.
- Payment processing is handled by Flutterwave, a PCI-DSS compliant provider.
- We regularly review our security practices to protect your information.
Your Rights
- Access: you can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correction: you can update your profile information at any time in your account settings.
- Deletion: you can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.

- After account deletion, we retain minimal records for up to 12 months for legal and fraud-prevention purposes.
- Payment records are retained for 7 years as required by Rwandan financial regulations.
